Paintings

My mother died on 23 January 2003. One of her hobbies was painting. She worked in acrylics, occasionally oils but never tried water colours. A modest person by nature, she could never be persuaded to show her paintings at local events and exhibitions. She preferred to just give them away - if you have one, please return it to me so that I can copy it and add it to this page. I would, of course, return the painting to you.

I think her paintings deserve to be seen by a wider audience so I have put them on the net. I know that they are not great works of art but they will mean a lot to those who knew my mother and might be appreciated by others as well.
